Breast Cancer

Hey, I just want to post a link about breast cancer and how serious it is. One of the best Tae-Kwon-Do masters passed away from breast cancer. Also my mom has ovarian cancer. I think that it is important to donate to any kind of organization for a good cause when you can. Not only because its a good thing to do, but it could also save someones life. One of the most commonly unknown facts is that not only women can get breast cancer. It is a medically proven fact that men are more apt to get breast cancer than women. There is no cure, but you can donate to help find one! http://www.cancer.org/Cancer/BreastCancer/index?gclid=COGF8timiawCFYxx5QodkAGW8w

One of my main goals is to someday be doing something along the lines of UFC, or octagon fighting. Almost my whole life, i have wanted to be a professional fighter. I know that right now i wouldn't go far, but i have been training for a little bit under 8 years and i just got my 2nd degree blackbelt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I feel like i an making some good forward movements. Although i am interested in a different kind of martial art. It is called kempo. m not sure if this will be appealing to me. I will post a video of what UFC or octagon fighting can be like.
Since I started Aikido, i have had to run 2 miles a day and do cardio workouts for about 30 minutes a day. It isn't mandatory, but it helps out with endurance and your ability to possibly overcome someone in any kind of a fight. Also, i have been sparring with many kids to get my tolerance up. The more you fight, the more your body starts to adapt and be able to take a hit. I have been doing mostly body sparring, mainly because i do not want to go to school with a black eye everyday. But body sparring is much more beneficial than any other kind of sparring in my opinion.
This blog is about one of my favorite martial artist of all time. Steve "superkick" vick. He is an expert in Muay Thai Kickboxing. He gets his nickname from being able to kick someone 2 times in one second. I will post a video of his talent. He is known as an American kickboxer, but he started out with Muay Thai kickboxing and he joined into American kickboxing as well. Hope you enjoy.

Hey, today I am going to get more into depth with Aikido. Say your walking home one night, and someone jumps out at you and tries to rob you. Aikido can teach you ways to disarm the robber and put him in a neutralizing position. Almost all of the positions do not require a lot of strength, and can be very helpful. 70% of the moves put your opponent in a position where if they move, they will hurt themselves. Here is a video demonstrating some of the moves in Aikido.

martial arts

Hey, I recently started this new kind of martial art. It is called Aikido. It specializes in pressure points, and holds that work against you. Its only been a week, but so far i have learned 3 moves that can break bones! The main idea of Aikido is to use the opponents body against himself. Aikido teaches you how to disarm a person with a weapon suck as a gun or knife. Also, it teaches you ways to neutralize a person/s if they are approaching you with intentions on hurting you. This is a martial art that is worth every penny. In my next post, i ill get more into detail about the benefits and the payoff of the martial art AIKIDO!!!!

Finally got a video up. Im not in any of these, but i do have videos that i can upload of me. This video will show you what can happen if you try to make a big hit, and leave yourself open for your opponent to capitalize on your mistakes. Always play it safe, and if you think you have a shot, make sure you follow through and do not hesitate. It will backfire!!!!
